12 Jul InfoTech set to implement a Complete Oracle Utilities Product Suite at DEDAS Turkey

DEDAS is a major electricity distribution company that provides service in Turkey’s southeastern provinces Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa, Siirt, Mardin, Batman and Sirnak. In a first of its kind implementation in Turkey InfoTech was chosen to replace DEDAS’s existing legacy systems with Oracle Utilities Product Suite.

This project will help serve 1.2 million customers and will cater for both smart and non-smart meters once the solution is implemented continuing InfoTech’s belief in making existing investments stretch farther even as modern tech is introduced. Using Oracle, InfoTech will deliver a solution that integrates customer and operational data for improved services and better grid performance. The analytics heavy solution will also allow DEDAS to transform its relationship with its customers and serve them better, and added visibility will super charge DEDAS’ business performance via efficient operations.

Successful implementations in similar Utilities projects like K-Electric, PESCO, Sui Southern Gas Company, NWC Saudi Arabia, and Ministry of Electricity Iraq and deep expertise in complex integration with multiple existing systems helped InfoTech win this international project.
