25 Jun InfoTech implements Oracle ERP solution at CPPA-G

InfoTech is one of the most experienced providers of technology solutions to Utilities in the region. InfoTech recently implemented an Oracle powered ERP solution at Central Power Purchasing Agency (Guarantee) Limited (CPPA-G), which is responsible for the complete spectrum of energy market operations and functions necessary for electric power markets. CPPA-G was encountering regular interruptions in their routine business processes due to a lack of automation and integration in the company. Critically, they experienced delays in payments to the IPPs, which was a grave issue as circular debt in the Power Sector is one the major contributors of load shedding. InfoTech proposed and successfully implemented Oracle ERP along with customized Purchase of Power Module – POP (developed in OAF) to resolve the problems faced by CPPA-G. This integrated solution will allow CPPA-G to have the agility of digital age speed and improved efficiency, optimized operational costs, and greater business insight.
